Advantages: The journey continues Disadvantages: Please read part one before this one
For those of you that have been following my journey through nanowrimo we can resume where we left off.
For anyone who has come to read for the first time you will have to read part one if you want to know what is happening.
It has been a long journey. I hope those that have been with me all month have enjoyed it. I have made it to the 50000 mark so have completed the challenge.
The next challenge will be to finish the story. So here we go, we left our intrepid band deep in the woods following the river, let us pick up where we left off.

☼☼☼ One, Two, Three?. Jump! ☼☼☼
This is a lovely book for young children. It begins with a description of a dragonfly that could see front, back and sideways, in fact all of the garden.
The little frog sitting in between large stones was a little green with envy and wanted to be somewhere else, to see other things just like the dragonfly. He wanted to jump.
?One, two, three??.. jump!?
The frog jumped as far as he could and ended up on the garden path. The dragonfly warned him that this wasn?t a great place to be. The frog disagreed and thought it was exciting but unbeknown to him there was a large wellington boot heading his way.
?Just jump-quick!?
?One, two, three??jump!?
This time he ended up under a big leaf amidst a host of flowers and plants. He loved this as the things waved ...
Advantages: Extraordinarily moving and beautifully written Disadvantages: Unbearably sad and at times frustrating.
Vikram Seth is probably most famous as the author of "A Beautiful Boy" and "An Equal Music", but he has also written a travelogue, a novel in verse, and other poetry. His latest book is in yet another genre: a biography of his great-uncle and -aunt, Shanti Uncle and Aunty Henny - their names appear in the acrostic poem he writes as the dedication - two 'ordinary' people who lived through times that were quite out of the ordinary.
What makes this biography far more intimate than the average, however, is the author's close relationship with his subjects.
