This is another great album from the 4 Irish men. It is titled Back Home.
There are 12 tracks on this CD:-
1 - Home - This is a beautiful ballard from the group which you will have probably have heard on the radio or advertised on the TV when the adverts for this album appears. It has a lovely tune and is very easy listening.
2 - Us against the world - This is another ballard but has a different edge to it from their usual ballards. The tune is very catchy and the song has great words. More upbeat than some of the songhs on the album. There is a very catchy chorus which is very easy to pick up so you will soon be singing along!
3 - Something right - This song has a lovely tune which makes easy listening. The words are very nice but this is not one of my favourite songs. There is a very upbeat feel to this song which does make a change from all the ballards.
4 - Already here - Now this is my untimate favourite song on the whole album.
This is a very nice ballard but for me it is the words which make it as I find it is very appropriate for me as my hubby is away in Afgan and the kids do talk to him on the phone. Sorry to be a total baby but this song has a lot of meaning for me. I think it will also appeal to everyone else as it is a great song.
5 - When I'm with you - Another more upbeat song with a great beat. I do find this song is a little repetative and personally I feel that this is one of the weaker songs for the album
6 - Have you Ever - Another ballard! This song really doe show the great voices and harmonies of the group. it has a very plesant tune and is very easy listening.
7 - It's You - The beginning of this song always makes me think it is going to start as another one but for this life of me I cannot think of the songs title, if any one listens to it and knows then please let me know! Not much to say really about this song, I would have to say that to me this seems like just another Westlife Ballard, sorry!
8 - Catch My Breath - A great upbeat song with a very catchy tune and great words, nothing really makes this song stand out though.
9 - The Easy Way - A great lively song from the boys, about the most livly one on the whole album. I like this as it does show a slightly different side to teh group from all the ballards. There is also a very catchy chorus which you will soon pick up and try to join in with!
10 - I Do - Back to the ballards! This is another typical Westlife ballard but nothin bad to say about it, there are some lovely words and a lovely soft melody.
11 - Pictures in my head - Yes another upbeat song! Great song with really good words but the tune is a bit predictable and nothing really stands out in this song for me.
12 - You Must Have Had a Broken Heart - We end the album on, yes you guessed it, a ballard! This is yet another typical Westlife ballard woth not much standing out but a good song none the less.
The album is very Ballard orientated but this is what we have all come to know and love from Westlife. The group have really come up wioth a good album here with some wonderful songs but I have to admit there are a few week links here but over all I give this the thumbs up as the good are very good and the bad are not too bad, I do still listen to them.
The voices are all amazing on each and every song. Shane is still the lead vocalist but we are starting to hear slightly more of the rest of the group which is good as they all do have good voices and can all actually sing, unlike other groups!
The album cover featurs a picture of the group with the title of the album and group in white letters across the middle. The inside of the album cover contains all of the song lyrics to make singing along earier! There is also some written words from the lads saying Thank you to all that have helped with the album. There is also the credits for the tracks and the production team found here. There are also some great photos of the group inside the cover booklet.
The back cover of the CD has the usual track list and another great photo of the lads. There is also the CD information at the bottom.
