Full review
I had heard of James blunt and read about him in the news paper as being a bit of a ladies man and who could forget the wonderful song you're beautiful that seemed to played every where you went and must have been played at loads of weddings too!!This album is definitely from the heart and you can tell that on some tracks he is pouring out his heart.
The first couple of songs to come of the album were not that big but once You're Beautiful was released that was when it all happened, it started low in the charts but it started to build up momentum and finally got to the number 1 slot were it stayed for a few weeks.

High
This is one of my favourite songs on the album. The opening lines accompanied with just the guitar are just out of this world, then the slow introduction of the drums just takes your breath away. I personal think he is sing about an old girlfriend who left him a few years past and they have just been reunited, and he is asking her to spend the rest of their lives together.

You're beautiful
Again starts off just guitar and James sing, he sings of a girl on the subway and they exchange a moment, he knows he will never see this girl again and feels although he has lots of love to give she will never be with him may be this is because she is a stunting girl that we will never know but it does remind you of your first crush in some ways. I certainly remember fancying a boy like mad but he didn't even know my name. (bless)

Wisemen
Not sure on this one it has the same feel as the first two slow, guitar and drums. He sings of smoking, 3 Wisemen being alone and being by the sea?? Who this could be referring to is anyone's guess really but its grows on you hear it for the 3rd time you being to like it.

Goodbye my lover..
Well the title says it all really, I love this song, it's a break up song. One everyone should listen to and if a bloke sung this for me hay I would think twice. He sings of playing games with her girl and then spitting up with her, and then feels like he has made a huge mistake. This song is just James singing with a piano and boy does it show off his singing talents.

Tears and rain
This is one of my least favourites on the album. it's a nice song to listen to but when it comes up on my mp3 I have to say I skip it. Again slow like all the others on the album he sings about self reflection.

Out of my mind, so long jimmy and cry
I have to admit these songs got on my nerves at first but now after sitting at home laying on the sofa with the stereo playing the song has kind of grown on me, they are more up beat than the others but he stills sings of loss and pain.

No bravery
For this song he gets inspiration from his experiences in the army serving as part of a NATO peacekeeping unit in Kosovo. This is from the heart as he sings of women and children felt homeless and starving due to the war.

Back To bedlam takes the us through 10 heartfelt songs that you can just chill out to with a lovely bottle of wine, you will either love it or hate it, there will not be many men out there who will like the Album or James Blunt but many women will.
