But I would like to enquire...why do you insist on sprinkling your ditties with that strange noise that is a cross between a gurgle and a grunt? And what button does your producer press during every song, that switches the sound quality from clear stereo playback to the sound of you being 20 miles away in a bath-tub filled with static electricity? Long may the queen of the trailer park reign, she serves a good purpose. Submit to 3 minutes of gurgling vibrato and afterwards even listening to Max Bygraves is a veritable aural feast. Advantages: Plenty of songs
Disadvantages: Not quite their best record

...worked as well i dont think. The five demo's are pretty average, sounding too much like other static-x songs to make them stand out. For a static-x fan, this album is a decent listen, and it does bring in other styles of music with the remixes and covers, but it does not equal their other albums currently out. An important point is that the guitarist who was with Static-X when this was recorded has since been fired from the band (due to convictions against him(Tripp Eisen)), and the previous guitarist that helped to make songs, namely "Push It", "Im With Stupid", "Bled For Days" etc is now back in the band. Maybe this is a sign that their next album will be something special :D. As the album is advertised as "The Ulitmate Collection of Static-X rarities", it livs up to its claim, but all in all a fairly average album. Worth buying if you... Read review
