Advantages: Value of money, something different! Disadvantages: Not for everyone!
...a night of hot lovin’, which the chorus is at odds with – “Oh tragedy/Like a multi-part symphony/I heard today/First a little bit too fast/Then a little bit much too slow for me…” Wha? Ah, whatever, he could sing Agadoo and make it sound like a friggin’ Beatles song.
3. Pretender
Thank garp my CD player started working, this was a track it always skipped and me like muchly. Saxophone stabs on the intro reminding me of Robert Palmer (eep!) until the tune kicks in and Monroe singing about his favourite topic – women! Who can blame him; he used to look like a hot woman himself! “Sweet pretender/Makes me lose my concentration” he warbles. An ode to Chrissie Hynde mayhaps - who knows? Not I! Made all the better for a refrain involving him asking the doctor for help – I love that in a rock record.

Advantages: pure rock and roll Disadvantages: a bit dated by modern tastes

'Street Poetry' is the latest album from HanoiRocks and was given its release through Demolition Records in the UK in September 2007.
Although only two of the original band members remain in the band, those being vocalist Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy; you should not let this fact put you off as HanoiRocks are still making some great music. Featuring the single 'Fashion' which went straight to Number 1 when released in Finland, 'Street Poetry' is...
