This review is on the 1985, Academy award winning, Backto the Future. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg, the films star Michael J. Fox as teenager Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as scientist Dr. Emmett L. Brown.
This was one of my all time childhood favourites, and to this day is still in my top ten of all time. It had everything one would want from an action film, action, drama, edge of the seat excitement and comedy. I think most people would agree that Backto the Future was a ground breaking Sci-fi film. Everything from the special effects to the storyline would be of much envy of the modern day films. Furthermore, I don't know about anyone else, but the first instalment was by far my favourite, because it was fresh and new, and we as viewers didn't no what to expect.

Backto the future is one of the greatest films of all time and is definitely gets my vote for being THE best. It was made in 1985 but remains a timeless classic. Everyone should watch this movie at some time during their lives - it's that good!

Marty McFly (Fox) is an ordinary 17yr old, except for one thing; he has a rather eccentric friend, Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown (Lloyd). One night, he invites him to the local mall in the middle of the night. Marty, being curious, agrees. When he arrives he is met by Doc, who shows him a modified DeLorean car which he says has been made into a time machine. It uses Plutonium to create a nuclear reaction that to generate the power needed to travel through time, and this will only happen once the car reaches 88 miles an hour. Doc shows Marty the time circuits and programs in 1955. Suddenly Libyan terrorists arrive, looking for their Plutonium. They kill Doc, so Marty jumps ...
