Advantages: great live album Disadvantages: few songs arnt great
The bouncingsouls are a great punk band from new jersey America, they are and have been one of my favourite bands for quite a few year now and probably for a long time to come too.
They were formed in 1987, and are well known in the punk scene for their light-hearted fast punk rock songs.
This tie one on album was recorded live in 1998 however the quality is great and much better than the more recent live album which was actually recorded in 005.
The first tracks off this album were recorded live at the Continental in New York City. The final 9th track of this album entitled “kid” was recorded in the studio and later released on their next studio album following its success on this live EP.

Advantages: It's the Bouncing Souls! Disadvantages: Poor compared to other releases by the band
album compiles three BouncingSouls EP's to give you an idea what they used to be like.
'I Like Your Mom' opens up the album a very short track that goes for the old 'your mom' joke. The song is really goofy with lyrics to match. "I like your mom and it's no bad, I wanna marry her and be your dad." I thought this track was so funny I set it up as my ringtone, which can every so often create an embarrassing situation.
'The Guest' this song starts off slow and then builds into a loud punk party tune. With a simple bam, bam rhythm on the drums. Nice little tune, but very forgettable.
'Thesearethequotesfromourfavourite80'smovies' is a rubbish song, I will just come straight out with it, I saw no appeal to it, then I saw it in a live performance and then I finally could appreciate it. It's basically a song with quotes from 80's movies ...
Advantages: great songs Disadvantages: not so good sound quality
i bought bouncingsouls live mainly because im such a big fan of the band and ove their music.
i can say after listening to it that they are not the strongest of bands live, however i love listening to it and instead of listing to their studio albums i now usually listen to this live album.
the quality could hav been better but over all i think this albums really good and if you do like bouncingsouls or other punk bands then i advise buying because its a great difference from their studio albums.
