Advantages: well..... Disadvantages: You have to pay for this and worst of all... ... You might have to listen to it!
...This album is most certainly a waste of money. Would you pay for a neighbour's home videos? No. Well if you fancy listening to and paying for some popstar wanabees, who think they can sing, then go ahead. However, my advice is that it would be a big mistake. The songs are average at best and, like many compilation CDs, there is no theme to the CD as each track is very different to the one before. The CD comes with only thirteen tracks so luckily your agony will not be dragged out for too longer period. Finally, the one positive part of this CD is that; although the music is gut-wrenchingly awful, you can express your patriotism to the last track, which is the aptly named 'God Bless The USA'!...

Top Gear, Top marks! Review ofTop Gear (The Ultimate Driving Experience) - VariousArtistsby

Advantages: great gift for dad / good modern mix Disadvantages: none
...This in my opinion is the best compilation album to come from the top gear merchandise. Great drive time music with the like of the Body rockers, Razor light, The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol and The Killers as well as Rob D, David Holmes, The Orb, Nightmares On Wax and Lemon Jelly. Its great to have a modern driving album which doesn't have the usual old 'Born to be wild', 'bad to the bone' etc. Its honestly a great mix and the variety of songs mean it will definitely make the time fly by when your driving. Also a great present for a father for uncle or something (without sounding sexist at all), as it allows them to appreciate modern music as well as sounding like that old turbo-fuelled guitar music which is legendary of 'bat out of hell' and other driving anthems. Great for fathers day ;-). Its also good because it has good...

The Back to Mine series is a series of records that are compiled by well known musicians and DJ’s to give to their fans an idea of what the music would be like if they went back to a party with them. The CD has the slogan “A personal collection for after hours grooving” which pretty much sums it up. The series started back on the 1st February 1999 and was compiled then by DJ Nice Warren. Since then there have been a further 24 albums with the most recent being Röyksopp in April 2007. The 25 different artists have included the likes of Groove Armada, Underworld, Faithless and the Pet Shop Boys.
This time it was the turn of The Orb. The Orb started out in 1988 and were DJ’s Alex Patterson and Jimmy Cauty. Since then they have gone through a series of different DJ’s including Kris Weston, Simon Phillips...
