Advantages: A definite easy listen Disadvantages: Maybe too easy
...exactly say im 'into' it, i jus fancied a change. Its a good CD if u want to relax or for background music if u have sophisticated dinner parties!
Not one of the most used CDs iv bought. In fact i only listen to it about once evry 2 months so it isn't exactly excellent value for money.
Below is a list of the tracks incase ur interested. The CD is priced around £19.99 and available from most music stores such as HMV and Virgin Megastore.

Operatic Farce Review ofLove's Luggage Lost - Gioacchino Antonio Rossiniby
MAFARRIMOND
Advantages: Comic opera at it's best Disadvantages: Can be difficult to follow
...Martino are travelling together when they meet Count Alberto (Iorio Zennaro – tenor) who is going to his wedding without having met his bride. Accidently, they take each other’s luggage. Parmenione opens the suitcase and finds a portrait of a woman who he assumes to be the bride and falls in love. By assuming the identity of the count, Parmenione plans to trick the bride and marry her himself.
Meanwhile, the bride, Bernice (Maria Bayo – soprano) swaps places with a family friend, Ernestina (Francesca Provvisionato – mezzo-soprano) so that she can assess the truth behind the groom’s professed love. Don Parmenione arrives falls in love with the bride (actually the friend) and she him. Count Alberto then arrives, meets the servant (actually the bride) and falls in love with her. A magnificent quintet takes place in which all characters sing...

BRAVO! Review ofOle Coltrane - John Coltraneby
kafouroutsos
Advantages: Improvisation at it's best Disadvantages: It's sad that there are only 3 songs in that record(+ 1 bonus track)
...How can someone make a brief description of what John Coltrane was? Well, he can't in my opinion without inevitably using terms as"the tenor king", "John "I almost own jazz" coltrane" and other similar phrases of exaggeration. I guess that for some people such as the one just mentioned a some sort of "brief introduction" is impossible but I will give it a try.
John Coltrane began playing clarinet and alto saxophone at the age of seventeen in the city of Philadelphia Officially , his careeer starts pretty late, considering other cats like Charlie Parker for example, at the age 29. Whose sideman was he? Miles Davis. Not too bad for a 29-old guy. He actually played on the legendary Miles Davis "kind of blue" recording. He left the Miles Davis quintet and devoted himself at a new band, with him as a bandleader. From that day until his death...
