Advantages: Some Exceptional Songs Disadvantages: Some Weak Songs
...Aerosmith are one of the best rock bands of all time. With a career spanning over 20 years, this album represents songsfrom three albums of their work, as well as the odd single, those albums being Permanent Vacation, Pump and Get A Grip.
Here's a rundown of the tracks:
1. Walk On Water
This song was released in 1994, and wasn't on any of their albums. The song has good rhythm and great lead throughout. Lyrics are inspiring in places and weak in others. Overall a pretty average song.
2. Love In An Elevator
This song is one of Aerosmith's most recognisable songs. It was a 1989 release from their massive selling album 'Pump'. Has a great opening riff, leading into some good rhythm throughout. Lyrics are sublime and interesting. A classic Aerosmith song.
3. Rag Doll
Taken from the album 'Permanent Vacation' in 1987. An interesting song...

Advantages: Great All Round Album Disadvantages: Doesn't Have Enough Tracks
...This is the second album from Poison and their biggest selling to date, mixes fast paced songs and ballads superbly. This album really established Poison in America and in the UK.
Here's a run down of the tracks:
1. Love On The Rocks
Has a slow paced opening riff, which continues through the song as the rhythm. Has good lead notes/chords played over the rhythm and a good solo. Lyrics are good are make this pretty decent opening track.
2. Nothin' But A Good Time
Has a great opening riff, which moves some medium paced heavy sounding rhythm. Has an immaculately composed solo, which really makes the song. Great lyrics round it off brilliantly.
3. Back To The Rocking Horse
Has a screeching sounding opening riff with purposeful rhythm combined. Rhythm is medium paced with lead notes over the top. The solo is up and down and combines quick...

Advantages: A very fresh effort Disadvantages: I think all the lads should have equal singing time, this does not seem to be the case with their songs.
...This first single to be released from "boy band" N'Sync's second hit album "No Strings Attached" is very impressive. It is not anything like the usual songs on the band's first album. Those songs tended to be more soft and did not contain so much "pumped up rhythm".
The song is a fresh start from the band and is a product they can be proud of.
All the way through the song, the rhythm and lyrics remained interesting and fresh.
Anyone who liked the band's first album should buy this single, they'll probably prefer it. I also recommend it to anyone who likes fresh efforts in pop and not cheesy regular boy band songs....
