Balamory (Strike Up The Band) is a must-have cd for any young Balamory fan. This lively cd features many of the character's songs that will keep your youngster singing and dancing to their favourite tunes.
Most of the tracks are longer versions than those played on tv - it is great to hear the full songs. PC Plum's tribute to Queen in "Follow the Clue" is an amazing track - you almost forget he is singing about sticky buns at one point in the song.
Tracks 12 - 14 can be played on your CD Player as normal karaoke tracks. However, if you insert the cd into your PC you'll find it is a CD ROM Enhanced where you can access a Balamory paint package and sing these three tracks with onscreen lyrics.
The CD booklet offers children a few puzzles and other games to play - it is almost like a mini Balamory magazine. Great for travel.
My daughter really enjoys listening to the cd - especially in the car. I personally don't find it annoying and often myself singing along to the songs. Very catchy, indeed.
