I was actually unaware that there had been over 200 cover versions of the classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water", which will go down in musical history as one of the best songs of all time. Here, the vocal is absolutely flawless ... angels have descended from heaven to sing this one ... it's pure magic. The duo have both enjoyed very successful solo careers with quite different styles, so you there are clearly different influences involved when they team up as a duo. Advantages: Superb collection of their best songs.

.... It is inspirational in many ways and also is a great song. Scarborough Fair / Canticle My particular favorite is a song with two tunes that compliment each other. The lyrics tell the tale of lost love at Scarborough Fair. Wonderful harmonies, and sad lyrics make this a superb song. Bridge Over Troubled Water Slightly different to their normal music, this song seems more orchestrated and fuller, giving it a strange feel. As usual the lyrics are very poetic and metaphorical, pulling you into the story easily. The song is a powerful blend of harmonics and soft rock. Cecilia This song was recently covered by the ex lead singer of Madness. It is a fun song, telling the story of the pain of love and the associated problems. Overall This album is full of many great songs. There perhaps isn't enough variation to appeal to todays teenagers... Read review
