A simply astounding offering from Seven Storey Mountain. This EP is a true masterpiece, with music so wonderfully crafted and very easy to listen to. The vocals of Lance Lammers are quite versatile, and can equally please whether screaming or singing more softly.
Tracks "So Soon" and "Reality Time" contain such maturity and musical excellence it makes you wonder why this band aren't much more popular. A highlight of the EP has to be the hilariously cynical "Politician", which has to contain some of the best lyrics this year! Deep Elm (label) always seem to surprise me every time with new artists that completely overwhelm me. Seven Storey Mountain are a good example.
