Basquiat - Original Soundtrack

Advantages: Great soundtrack Great movie
Disadvantages: Not much

...Titanic the soundtrack. Pardon the pun. But the soundtrack itself was titanic in sales as well. I remember running out after the movie to any and every music shop to try and get the soundtrack after I saw the movie, but unfortunately, I think everybody else had the same idea. Sigh.... It was probably allthe emotional ups and downs in the movie which caused me to really get into the music and want to get the soundtrack. However when I got it, I couldnÄt stop hearing it. Especially track 4, Rose. It's really noce, and with the second Titanic soundtrack out in shops now, I think it's pretty good as well. But I would still pick the original one to listen to.... ...This soundtrack is one of the best i have ever heard to accompany a film. The film itself is fantastic, with no real flaws great cast, great script, and great SOUNDTRACK! the songs go perfectly with the film, and are just fantastic to listen to on their own. The songs are flawless with greats such as bitter sweet symphony by the verve and coffee and tv. These songs let you relieve the film whiel you lie there thinking. The songs are very we set in oder on the soundtrack to coinside with how they appear in the film. This soundtrack is a must have people who enjoyed the film or people who just like many great songs on one CD.... Read review

...This is one of the best soundtracks of the year. The music really captures the moment, and Aerosmith have made a good contribution to the film and to the soundtrack. Unlike their usual heavy style, Aerosmith have put together some quite romantic songs to create the near perfect soundtrack. The album also contains other artists, but it is fairly obvious that it is dominated by Aerosmith! This is a great soundtrack that you can really relate to the film, and is an incredibly good buy. If you like this sort of thing (the dramatic romance type of music) then this is the album for you, particularly if you watched and loved the film.... Read review
