Advantages: Fabulous Disadvantages: Similar sounds
...The debut album from Rooster:
Nick Atkinson - vocals
Luke Potashnick - guitar
Ben Smyth - bass/backing vocals
Dave Neale - drums
This album is fantastic. The music is up beat but very easy to listen to. My personal favourite song is "staring at the sun" which is basically about someone taking advantage of you. The lyrics in this album are fresh and original although most of the topics written about have been done a hundred times before. The only possible disadvantage is that some of the songs seem a bit similar to each other. However, this is definitely an album to listen to when you need to put a smile on your face, it's very easy listening. The vocals are strong and so is the beat, this will definitely get you out of your seat.
12 songs of pure heaven for only £8.75 - what more could you ask for?...

...Rooster are a four piece band-Nick Atkinson (Singer), Luke Potashnick (Guitar), Ben Smyth (Bass and backing vocals) and Dave Neale (drums).
Rooster's first single was the incredibly catchy 'come get some', which has as huge rock/pop feel to it-especially the chorus, This song makes you feel like dancing-or as the song says 'shout it from the rooftops'. Its no surprise that this song was a hit for the boys.
With the follow up single, 'Staring at the Sun' also released before the album the band were bound to have notched a fair few fans. 'Staring at the Sun' is a rock ballad with a massive chorus which will stick in your head from the first time you hear it.
After the album came the brilliant single 'You're so right for me', with its catchy beat and guitar rifts this track will make you jump around the room and leave you feeling good...

Advantages: Top tunes, nice production Disadvantages: Some tunes are a bit boring
...Fantastic album that NEEDS to be owned by anyone interested in drum n bass. If you like original Roni Size, Influx UK, Krust or Shy FX material, you will love this. This is where it all started, the true beggining of Jungle and Drum n Bass.
Goldie provides a great incite into the deep sounds of drum n bass. From his jungle classic of 'Inner City Life', Goldie showcasses the rich and ragged roots of North London nightlife.
The Metalheadz boss rinses beats after beats of pure bass, switching his amen samples with huge snare drum hits, all showered down with some ambience and filtered strings.
Quite simply this is a masterpiece, meant for the speakers instead of the London gallerys!
