Advantages: Those short skirts and her dancers!!!!! Disadvantages: Ginger
...What the hell did happen to Miss Gina G. She releases the storming single "ooh ah just a little bit" takes on the rest of Europe at the Eurovision song contest, comes third or something like that, not a bad result to be honest, and becomes one of the very few Eurovision entries to make the UK singles chart number one position, then disappears from the scene.
The album Fresh spawned maybe 3 or 4 singles, that didn't perform maybe as well as her record company might have thought, but does that mean she should be dropped?
Ooh ah is still played in all the disco's and at kiddies parties and she'll only be remembered for that one song, but I am sure there was a lot more to Gina G.
So make a comeback girl!...

Advantages: Reaaaaaaaaal bassy Disadvantages: Will annoy neighbours!
...An absolutely tearing album. If you're into hard drum and bass then you'll love this. Most of the tracks have been used by Andy C, Blackmarket etc and it's easy to see why. starts well, a powerful middle and explosive end. An essential selection for anyone into pounding beats and earthquakesqe bass.
I saw dillinja back at The Carling Acadamy in Bristol a few months back, him and Andy C tore the place to peices and quite a few tunes from that set were used here soo...its vvv good...
Oh and i'd also like to apologise to all the people who gave me grief for mass posting comments on my other reviews, I got the theory of ciao wrong, thought comments gave u points which in turn gave u surveys to do, not the case....
My apologies!...

Advantages: Songs sound great live, Ash messing around Disadvantages: Expensive import, nothing really new
...guitar work, as well as the strings, to be replaced by a heavier bass and a more rough and raw approach. As I always have adored Ash live, I found this to be brilliant, as the energy of a live performance is there - although you do expect some kind of cheer at the end of each song, only to be met by silence as they're in a studio. They don't sound as good live on this as they do now - back then they where a three-piece and where trying to play songs designed for two guitars on one guitar - so to compensate, the bass is given a much greater emphasis and I feel this gives the songs a great deal of power.
It's very laid back, Tim says the odd word between songs, and there is a fun moment when they mess the start of Goldfinger up three times in a row. Apart from that, the tracks here aren't too different from the album tracks, which is why I'd...
