...Dub War’s album entitled “Pain” is a classic album that deserves much more credit than it ever got. With great tracks like “Gorrit” and “Strike It”, Dub War really did deserve to be bigger than they ever were. Hailing from Wales, they kind of got left behind in the explosion of Welsh bands that saw the Manic Street Preachers, Catatonia and the Stereophonics all achieve major chart success. But this is rough edge real music, none of that indie/rock the others play. The guitars riffs are heavy, the drums fast, the bass of the highest importance and superb vocals.
This is one of those albums that you should have in your collection because in 5-10 years you’ll stick it on and still be astounded at how brilliant Dub War were....

Rafi's Revenge Review ofRafi's Revenge - Asian Dub Foundationby

Advantages: The Classic Genesis Line-up In All Their 70s Glory Disadvantages: For Hardcore Fans Only
...As well as the four CDs, there is also an informative 80 page booklet included in this package. For true fans there is not much new in this booklet, nevertheless it is a nice-to-have. They are all highly worthwhile and reasonable quality. Although CD4 is all from the early days 'Genesis To Revelation' era; they make very interesting listening. Over the last 20 years or so we have had so much brilliant stuff from this group that it is easy to overlook where they came from mucically. This collection rekindles old memories and reminds us of what has made them great from their earliest days.
Although Peter Gabriel has over dubbed some vocals...
