Advantages: fun, interesting, quirky, alternate 60s stuff, makes you want to stand up and sing!
Disadvantages: not for some, a little odd,
...Basically one of the albums in the three album collection of bonzo dog band tracks, i got this for about £6 in a HMV sale and to be honest its a steal, im sure it can be got for that price around and about on the net and the whole set for not too much more.
To be honest ii would definately recommend this album and all of this bands works to anyone with a decent taste in music, theres just so much on offer here that one cannot get bored! Including classics that you're bound to have heard like monster mash and urban spaceman along with the even greater, in my opinion, cult classics such as mr appolo and canyons of your mind.
Thiis is an album that you really must listen to, its great for a party or just to have on in the background and the quality is actually quite amazing for something froom the 60s sounding bassically...

Not just "There She Goes"

Advantages: British pop at its absolute best.
Disadvantages: Quirky style can take a little time to get used to.
...lyrics throughout the entire album. One of my favourites is the line: "It's only a word believe me, if only the world could see me." Most of the songs have an underlying romantacism about them which endears you so much to the writer.
Track 4 - Liberty ship
A brilliantly simple but effective bassline starts this song bassically centering around an A major climb up which is complemented with an occasional guitar strum. This song has some of the most obscure but romantic lyrics of the whole album centering around a story about a ships mate intertwined with a depper underlying message of humantiy and release.
I've always personally thought this was a great song to have before There She Goes as it is a very thoughtful song which gets you paying attention and then boom, you're into one of the greatest songs ever recorded.
