...to just disappear. They may not be quite as good as Foo Fighters yet . . . but i'm sure they will be. The lyrics are good and well sung; there may not be enough guitar riffs but what they do works well; and it's a highly enjoyable album. It is also possible now to buy a 'LimitedEdition 2CD Set' which includes five more songs. This is not special, but well worth it!

The first single 'disco radio' was a success and the band followed with the double CD album Bastinado. The day it was released I went to buy it and struggled to find a copy in music stores, I didn't care I was happy that it'd sold out, it meant that it had been met with success. The album contains 11 tracks and also a bonus CD with 6 acoustic versions of songs of off the album.
I saw Wilt on the 'other stage' at Glastonbury last year. They were awesome. The band is more than guitars and drums; it is a personal story of success for frontman Battle. He managed to come back from oblivion and re-establish himself in the industry he loves....

Advantages: Cracking, melodic rock music Disadvantages: Unheard of by many
...Released in 2002, this was Irish-rock band Wilt's follow-up to their hard working effort in 2000; "Bastinado".
Now, I'm sure very few of you will know anything by them - I still know very little!! Some basic details are there are 3 of them in the band, they originated from a previous band - "Kerbdog", and they're signed to Mushroom Records and it was produced by Dave Eringa who's previously done work with the Manic Street Preachers and Idlewild.
I brought the album on the Internet after hearing opening track "Distortion" on MTV2 and becoming a big fan of it, and the second track on the album "Understand" on the radio. It was available at a cheap price, so I thought "hey, why not?!"
It's certainly an accomplished piece of work from the band on first impressions - their style, especially when listening to tracks such as "Distortion...
