Advantages: The day we caught the train Disadvantages: Very boring in places
...‘Moseley Shoals’ by Ocean Colour Scene was released in 1996 in the height of Brit pop and is probably their best album. Although when I bought this album I was heavily in to them but now I grown up to hate bands such as them. Listening to them now they just sound mind numbingly boring the only song, which is Bearable, is ‘The day we caught the train’ which is probably the song which launched them. You can tell why Paul Weller likes them so much because they just sound like an imitation of him when he’s past his best....

Advantages: It's limited edition, so one day I may be able to sell it and make some money Disadvantages: Everything else about it
...I bought this album not to long after buying Moseley Shoals, at that point Moseley Shoals was all I had heard by Ocean Colour Scene so I was still under the impression that they were a good band. As it was a limited edtion CD I decided to take a chance on it and buy it. Unfortunatly, like most of Ocean Colour Scene's material, B-Sides, Sea Sides and Free Rides is a collection of turgid, bland ballads. There are a few tracks that deviate from the standard Ocean Colour Scene way of doing things, but the chances are you will have drifted off to sleep before you get there....

Here we go Review ofMarchin' Already - Ocean Colour Sceneby

Advantages: Real good music Disadvantages: No disadvantages
...Marching Already
Ocean Colour Scene are a terrific band, and this album adds to the supremacy. It is even better than molesly shoals, and if you like their kind of music I would strongly recommend you take a short trip to your local music store and part with a worthy £13 or so. Beautiful Thing is the last track out of thirteen, which is a wonderful blend of Indie - ballad. Every track is a great tune, with chords and melodies to have you screaming along to the lyrical supremacy. If you are looking for a present to buy some one , you can't go far wrong with this little beauty....
