...An interesting album of jazz tracks that grips you from the very first moment. The band are from New York and have recently made it onto the scene in the last few years. Some tracks are better than others. I would recommend this album as an easy listening record. It's something you can relax to in the evening. Sex Mob are a jazz quartet led by trumpeter Steven Bernstein. They are very talented musicians and I would highly recommend this album. Advantages: A couple of great songs which have the original Ricky magic
Disadvantages: A bit too cheesy and it seems as if he has given into the temptation of bowing down to pop and forgetting the latin roots that made his music special

...I've been a fan of Ricky Martin for many years so and after hearing 'She Bangs' I was convinced that this would be a great album. I have been very much disapointed though, there is one other great track which has the same appeal as She Bangs which is called 'loaded'. Other tracks though are hit and miss and the slower songs are most definately far too cheesy particularly 'nobody wants to be lonely' which was recently recorded with Christina Aguilera. Its not the best album of his and it does seem as if he has taken the whole sex symbol thing to heart and now comes across vain and far too self-conscious.... Read review

Advantages: Musically the best Floyd album
Disadvantages: Not easy-listening

...One of the great ironies apparent in the recent history of politics taking root in the flowerbed of popular music was the assault upon Pink Floyd by those useless over-hyped fiends known as the Sex Pistols. They attacked the Floyd for being stale, and synonymously associated with the ageing hippy generation no longer seen as cool to the record-buying public. Call me cynical, but I'm just saying what I'm seeing.
