...Keane are a 3 piece band hailing from Battle, Sussex, home to the battlefield of 1066. Tom Chaplin (Vocals) Tim Rice Oxley (Piano/Keyboards/Bass/Writer) Richard Hughes (Drums) Keane are a band that have hit the headlines in recent times with two successful singles and a number one album. They might still be new to a lot of people but they have been around for some time, they started out as a four piece band called 'The Lotus Eaters' in 1997.
