Advantages: Excellent Movie Sountrack. Disadvantages: None!
memories of this movie and of the time it was released in the charts to me and I just love recalling it all. This track was released in 1985 and reached number 15 in the billboard charts. The music video to accompany this love song was taken from clips of the St Elmo's Fire movie also. This is an excellent track, that?s an all time favourite to me.
Overall Opinion Of St Elmo's Fire Soundtrack.
Well as you have probably gathered from reading this review, I really love this soundtrack a lot. I have had this original one for over twenty years. I first had it on cassette and then upgraded it to CD. It really looks a bit tatty on it, but that?s because it has been played a lot by me over the years, as I love it so much. This CD was one of the first movie soundtracks that really caught my attention because of the great meanings all the songs ...
Advantages: Highly influential Disadvantages: Nothing majorly special as something to watch
As part of a sort of self-challenge, I have amassed a load of free DVDs that you get with the Sunday papers, and have vowed to watch them all, and then let you guys know what I think of them. For any of you reading this, or any of the other reviews I have written on these DVDs, none of them contain any extras, and many launch you straight into the film without even a title screen.

Having not read up on it much before watching the film, I wasn't sure whether the content was going to be unsuitable in terms of violence or sex or language (in a silent film?) for it to be banned, but having watched it and researched ever so ...
Advantages: Free, easy to access, fairly interesting Disadvantages: Hustlers and hawkers, it's just some steps when all is said and done
Who would have thought that a simple flight of steps could be so interesting? The steps I am talking about are the Potemkin Steps in the Ukrainian city of Odesa, opened in 1841. Curiously, for a city that is home to lots of attractive buildings, it is this set of stone stairs that visitors flock to see. Allow me to explain?
The steps were not made famous by the 1905 uprising of sailors on the Russian battleshipPotemkin, but by Sergei Eisenstein?s film account of the event which was made in 1925 and is today regarded as a cinematographic classic. The uprising was fairly significant at the time but not widely known of until the film was made. (Incidentally Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe ? aka the Pet Shop Boys - recorded a new soundtrack to the movie a couple of years back which they played live against the backdrop of the film in ...
