Advantages:
it's not a copy of their idles . . . lennon and co ! !

don't go and buy it now becuase it's even more expensive than when it first came out

After the world-conquering glories of ...."Definitely Maybe"... and ...."What's The Story Morning Glory" this 1997 release saw Noel Gallagher treading water. Despite previous Beatle copyists accusations, it was "Be Here Now" that finally saw Noel's Fab Four fixation wear a little thin...(thank goodness!)
The Girl In The Dirty Shirt, for instance, could have been lifted from The Beatles 1968 White album.
More revealingly, Fade In Fade Out could have been a Jon Bon Jovi single.
Be Here Now lacked bite with its too-polished production and adequate Noel tunes lacking the immediacy of the previous albums.
Even Liam's vocal idiosyncrasies seem blanded out. Only on the number one single.... D'You Know What I Mean? did a powerhouse song combine with an overwhelming wall of sound production.
A band killing time before, hopefully, moving on to greater things.
