This album is in my opinion the best that oasis have brought out, it shows the genious that noal has for song writing and the skill of the rest of the band. There are lots of really good songs on it, the most well known of which are the likes of "d'you know what i mean?" "stand by me" and "all around the world". but there are lots of other songs on it with as much credit deserved to them as those better known ones do, fo instance "I hop, i think, i know" it a brilliant song as is "my bit mouth". there are a couple of slightly weaker songs on the album too but the only real problem with them is the length they last for, most of the songs on the album are around 6 minutes long and if you don't like a song the 6 minutes is along time to be listening to it. Later oasis albums also have a lot of credit, songs such as "masterplan", "some might say", "cast no shadow" "wonderwall" or "rock and roll star" are all very good but in my opinion the best oasis songs are on this first album. I belive that this album could go down in history as the best oasis ablum and therefore one of the best albums of all time. Though many people may now concider this album out dated it is not to be over looked just because it has been out of a few years not, it is well worth buying and i think that those oasis fans who are old enough to remember the early stuff will appreciate this as a really good album
