In 1997 Oasis returned with this "Be here now", an album that was universally slated, for being too much, too big, and too soon. For me its my favourite Oasis album, its different, and i love that its so big. The album opens with D'you know what i mean, a cracking song with big guitar solos loads of effects and a typically catchy oasis chorus. Track two really hits you, "my big mouth", it opens with a loud kick in the face and just doesn't stop hitting you, its load and its big, and you cant help but shout it at the top of your lungs. "magic pie" is a lot slower a sung by Noel, and its daft, its long, the chorus ids ridiculous (You see me i got my magic pie) but its brilliant, a firm favourite on the album. "Stand by me" is nest, one of the singles, and that intro, you know it from a mile off, love it. "i hope i think i know" follows sounding a but like "step out", its just fun and your singing it for the rest of the day, and followed by "girl in the dirty shirt", you have got two cracking oaqsis songs lining you up for "fade in out". This is the only song on the album that doesn't really need to be there, you wouldn't notice if it was taken off, but its still worth giving a fair go, oh and the slide guitar is done by Johnny Depp. "Dont go away", AWESOME, some of the best work lyrically, that Noel has come out with, and a live favourite too. Simple song worked to great effect, with stunning lyrics and a rally catchy chorus that everyone will tell you to stop singing, and you didn't realise you had started. "be here now", the title track is great, the little riff is catchy and you will instantky be whistling it while you walk. "all around the world" we all know, its too long, its daft, the video is stupid but its brilliant, another one you will be singing without even realising, and then theres the reprise, all i can say to that one is, well i got nothing, its just plain saft. Overall - Buy this its fantastic
