Well they are well and truly back the sensation that broke thousands of girls & a few boys (awww) hearts many years ago when they decided to split up. This album is far from anything they released when they were all rowdy young lads up for a laugh and a few other things, far from songs such as ‘’Pray’’ ‘’it only takes a minute’’ yes all these song are obviously from ma bunch of lads who party drink collect women and well party..
To be honest after hearing they would be making a comeback i wasn’t to pleased after watching the antics of which they got up to on the backs of tour buses which is way to disgusting to mention on here, i could only try to imagine the rubbish that was about to be played down the waves of radio stations all over, i mean come on they were Ok when they were younger and the songs were Kind of Excellent so they couldn’t possibly top any of that being much older an all, could they??
Wrong This album is truly GREAT the album cover is simple and sweet the track listing is nothing like they have ever released before it’s mature, full of thought and feelings. And wow how the boys have turned into MEN. With the already so popular ‘’shine’’ Main vocalist being The Lil Mark Owen (which didn’t do to well in his solo career, apart from the one song i did like which was 1 minute warning) the song starts with a great sounding piano its a feel good song saying how you shouldn’t wait around to do what you want let yourself go and soon you will shine, The more times you listen to this, the more you will like it. Then the Other Popular song from the album is ‘‘patience’’ sung by lead singer Gary Barlow which was the first single released from this particular album is packed full of fantastic lyrics an ever so grown up and more mature voices of the lads or should i say men, its relating to being hurt and starting a new relationship with lines like ‘’ Cause I need time my heart is numb has no feeling so while I’m still healing just try and have a little patience’’
Another song that stands out from the album is ‘’ill wait for life’’ it’s a moving song with lots of feeling and thought
‘’Reach out’’ Take That’s return begins with “Reach Out”, which has a piano and guitar intro a well crafted pop ballad with a slightly more upbeat chorus
‘’Beautiful world’’ This is one of the songs that sit halfway between West life and Keane; it’s a steady, strong song
'Hold On' This song lets the other band members show of their vocal talents and lead the way this is a very emotive song its very different from anything else on the album
'Like I Never Loved You' A slow paced song much different from there old music back in the days this song is really directed to those fans who want to imagine take that themselves are actually speaking to them
'Ain't No Sense In Love'
Soft vocals on this song very basic soft piano playing proving you dont need loads of backing music to make a great song
'What You Believe In' Mark owen takes control on this one again with this electronic voice on this soft slow song
'Mancunian Way' It's a very clever, and catchy song with an opening similar to ‘Never Forget'
'Wooden Boat'/'Butterfly''
Lead vocals from Jason orange ( i got a Christmas card of him once and then asked why mark hadn’t signed it :o) very acoustic and very chilling song
This album is full of cheese and smiles amazingly different from albums released back in the day highly recommended for a feel good time

Advantages: Great return album, catchy pieces, generally very solid, very enjoyable Disadvantages: Slightly cheesy at times, not great if you don't like Gary's voice.
