Our intrepid adolescent heroes wake up to find their beloved television stolen, and embark ... more
on an epic journey across America to recover it, and, who knows, maybe even score. On the way they encounter a murderous smuggler of a deadly virus and his treacherous wife, an FBI agent with a predilection for cavity searches, a couple of rather familiar-looking ex-Motley Crue roadies, Mr. Van Dreesen singing Lesbian Seagull, a little old lady and, of course, Mr. Anderson and his trailer. Can the Great Cornholio save the day? Uh-huh. Huh-huh.

Beavis and Butt-head, MTV's metal-head morons, finally conquer the big screen in this ... more
on-the-road, on-the-run comic adventure. The boys run into real trouble when--and this really sucks!--their all-important television set is stolen and they get mistaken for a pair of hit-men hired to 'do' a man's sexy wife. Their misunderstood task takes them from Vegas to D.C., with plenty of hilarity but nary a music video in sight. Beavis' wired alter-ego Cornholio's rampage through the White House is a particularly twisted highlight.
Advantages: Highly Funny, Can be watched over and over again Disadvantages: You have to be slightly warped to enjoy it to the fullest extent.
WARNING… Only watch this film if you share my warped sense of humour. Now that I’ve got the disclaimer out of the way, I’ll get on with the opinion.
I have been watching Beavis and Butthead on TV for years. For those who have never heard of them, Beavis and Butthead are two teenage youths who are possibly the worst students in the history of American schooling. Most of the time, they do not even attend classes and stay at home watching music videos on TV.
When I heard that a film had been released, my thought was that they had made a cheap film by taking the popular parts of the TV show and tacking them into a film with a few music videos mixed in to pad it out. I am pleased to be able to say I was wrong. The makers have put a lot of effort into this film and the only music videos in the film are not just tacked ...
Advantages: It Is a very funny film Disadvantages: None
The best animation film i have ever seen! They think they are bein sent to score with a women but really they have been sent to kill her by her ex husband! it is a really funny film and i would recomend it to anybody! you have to like them or else you may find it ofensive! but there is a first time for everythin! If you havent seen it then i say you should! There are a number of funny characters in it!
So if you get chance to watch it do so.... ...
Advantages: just a very funny film Disadvantages: too stupid for some
Since my slightly earlier youth (I?m not old yet), I had frequently heard of Beavis and Butthead, and consequently they had been elevated to god-like status among such cartoon heroes as Ren and Stimpy, the Simpsons, and Garfield. Well, maybe Garfield achieved a league of his own.
Anyway, I had seen only frustratingly bite-sized clips until last weekend when I finally remembered to ask a friend if I could borrow the video ?Beavis and ButtheadDoAmerica?.
Success!
Or? not. The beginning of the movie (after the FABULOUS theme by Red Hot Chili Peppers ? the soundtrack rocks!) was disappointingly empty. My preconceptions had guided me towards an expectation of action and hilarity. Nope. Nothing could have prepared me for their voices. Or their constant growly-grunting sniggering noises. Or the amount of initial silence.
However ...

"Ain't Nobody" was nominated for a 1988 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. Hey, Beavis! Check it out, it's like, some kind of movie soundtrack or something! It's got, like, all these bands that rule! Dude, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are doing some old song about doing it in amusement park--"Love Rollercoaster," heh, heh, heh. Look, Beavis, it's Ozzy! Ozzy rules supreme, even though he's not with whatstheirnames anymore, Blue Sunday. You can tell he's been through AA, cause he's singing a song called "Walk On Water," heh, heh, heh. Almost every song on here is, like, totally cool, Beavis! There's not a single thing that sucks on the whole album! Even that old dude that your mom likes is here, the one with the funny name, Englebert Pumperdink or something. Whoah, check it out, Beavis! He's singing a song called "Lesbian Seagull!" Heh, heh, he said "Seagull"! Dude, that guy with the skinhead who did the "Shaft" theme is even on here! His song is called "Two Cool Guys," it must be about us. Hey, Beavis, we've gotta get this album! Where does your mom hide her purse?
