Great song wasn’t it? Bedtime Stories is Madonna’s seventh album and wandering away from her pop/dance classics, this particular album is more a controversial lets-talk-about-sex album, accompanied by her ‘Erotica’ album previously. These were released shortly after her very very controversial book ‘Sex’, which had nudey pictures of herself and a couple of other stars in very provocative positions. Needless to say that the press didn’t like it.

I think, as a result of her openly exploiting sex, she made it a less taboo subject and educated her listeners that sex is definitely not a sin, and that it’s perfectly natural to discuss it openly.

Madonna is very much a chameleon artist that is capable of adjusting to the growing new trends that music has, Madonna is the Queen of Pop and no other would even come close to taking her place. Her music is pop, dance and some really beautiful ballads.
