Advantages: Good Acting, Disadvantages: Quite Barbaric In Places
The Passion of the Christ released in 2004 and directed by Mel Gibson is a film that I have only recently seen for the first time. At the time of its release I made a conscious decision to avoid watching this film due to the huge amount of hype that surrounded it.
Having now watched this film I am left with a mixture of different thoughts and feelings. I am not a religious person and this is also another reason why I probably did not rush out to the Cinema on the release of this film. I also had even less interest in rushing out to see it when I discovered that not only were there no big name Hollywood Actors amongst the cast but that all of the dialogue was spoken in a mixture of Latin and Aramaic, with English subtitles displayed across the screen.

Advantages: Wonderful casting, could see it again and again. Disadvantages: Some seats, not having a great view.
Oliver! We went to see the matinee performance Wednesday 21st Jan at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London, what a show!
Just get the tube to Covent Garden, walk through the market straight out the back of the market and the theatre is right in front of you.
We paid £37-50 each for our tickets in the stalls, which I had brought back in April 08. Our seats where row Y 1 - 3. When booking it did not say that they are limited views, anyone from row W - X - Y and further back would have a job to see the top view of the set. We had to dip our heads to see what was going on on the upper level of the stage and at times quiet disappointing, the rows behind us must have found it even worse and there where another six rows behind. The problem being that the overhang from the floor above blocks out the view of the upper scene on the stage. So ...

I've a confession to make?
I'm a bit of a Disney addict, I just love sitting with my children and watching the animated films with them. And today we watched Oliver & Company, the 27th animated classic that was first released in 1988, which just happens to be the year I left school. This is one of the lesser known Disney films and I really believe it deserves a little more attention so I've decided to tell you all about it.

As with many of the better Disney animations, Oliver & Company is based on a classic story, and in this case it's Dickens's novel Oliver Twist. However instead of a little orphan boy, we have an abandoned kitten as our hero.
