Choral Symphony

Advantages: Choral Symphony
Disadvantages: Nothing

On the first time, The Nineth Symphony of Beethoven is kwoning like "Choral Symphony" because in the foursth and the last movement it is singing by a Tenor, Baritone, Soprano and Messo Soprano Voices with a Choral Voices that they are singing in another way the "joy song". This symphony (the last one) of Beethoven was released the May 7th of 1821 when he was a deaf person, so he never could listen his composition years at 3 or 4 years after Beethoven died. So it was his last composition, been for me the best compousers. In the first movement of this Symphony "Allegro ma non troppo" begining with the introduction of wind instrument like oboe and the violas and violin continues the music and then continues with this music specially the wind instrument with a hard musical notes that it is characteristic of this 15 minutes music. Review of Beethoven: Symphony No 9; Coriolan Overture

It Works for me....sometimes....!

Advantages: Cheap. Good for buying presents.
Disadvantages: Sell a lot of titles you've never heard of....

The Works is a discount bookstore which can be found on many high streets. I have browsed around a fair few discount bookstores, but have always found this store to be the best in it?s class. Overall, I tend to find that a lot of discount bookstores sell a lot of uninteresting titles, & books you?ve never heard of. The Works does also fall into this category, but seems to also sell more bestsellers than other stores (often current ones at that), covering a wide range of authors. Books are laid out according to genre & are for the most part stacked on shelves with the cover facing forwards, so that you can see at a glance what titles are in stock. The more popular fiction & bestsellers are laid out on tables at the front of the store, with reference books & childrens books being on shelves running down the sides & back of the store ...

Review of The Works

Beethoven's symphonies: the rediscovered frontier

Advantages: A new way to hear Beethoven
Disadvantages: Surpassed by some later period cycles

a crowning culmination of epic proportions. In the Fourth he made decisive moves to make the timpani a musical instrument instead of providing mere accented highlights during crescendos. He also added much romantic and poetical feel to the work that is especially apparent in the quiet B flat minor introduction. In the Fifth he brought us the concept of the "victory symphony" where we move from a great struggle to a final, grand victory. This approach of beginning in the minor key and ending in an affirmative major would become a basic staple for the Romantics that followed. The Sixth on the other hand offered a very different kind of avenue that was also developed in the Romantic era: program music. Cast in five movements, Beethoven's scenes from the country created a prototype for the highly pictorial music of Berlioz, Liszt, Wagner, and many ...
