Let me first take you back on a trip down memory lane, not a literal trip mind you, watch your feet!
When I was a little girl I remember being taken with my little sister to the biggest shop in town and it was called the co-op or "Qwarp" as my Nanna called it. It was a treasure trove and I used to love going round it, through the glassware and ornaments, the beds and sofas, TV?s and videos the toys and clothes and even the food shop. You name it and you could get it in the Co-Op. Back then Nanna used to get little stamps each time she spent some money there and every once in a while she'd let me and my sister stick them into little books and if there was enough full books to make up a decent amount of money we were allowed to go and spend it!

Advantages: fine meat and nice food Disadvantages: sometimes a bit pricey
a nice old fashioned and slightly quaint experience.the co-op prides itself on good quality which in my opinion it has managed to maintain.this could be why it has managed to keep a 'fan group'of life-long customers.against popular belief these customers don't just consist of elderle people,i,myself am 38 and have been going there 10 years.granted they are not the cheapest of super markets but i believe that cheaper super markets no names mentioned...farmfoods...iceland)are far lower down the scale on quality. The food is of a high quality and the meat is one of the best i find there steaks are great. The staff there are always friendly and are happy to talk. They also have good deals going on their at the moment for christmas... ...
