Advantages: Good comedy and an entertaining movie Disadvantages: none really
, who they warm to and feel sorry for, they are finding it hard to scare the family away.
As a final resort they enrol the help of a strange 'bio-exorcist' called Beetlejuice, (played by Michael Keaton) for help, but his way of helping is a little too severe for the Maithlands liking.
The Maithlands must stop Beetlejuice from harming the Deetzes before someone gets killed?.again?.???
And there's only one way to rid the world of such an arrogant ghost?..
**IN CONCLUSION**
This one is a little difficult to get to grips with, it tries to be a little scary in a comical way, with the image of Beetlejuice emerging being the scariest thing in the movie.
The story is pretty well written and the acting isn't to bad either.
The special effects are a little tricky to describe as they look like something out of the 1970's 'B ...

As well as being my favourite film, this is also one of my favourite soundtracks. Most of Tim Burton's films have soundtrack's brilliantly composed by DannyElfman, and this is no exception. His sound is usually very Christmassy and quite magical, and this is emphasised even more as he brings about not only the darkness of Halloween, but the magic and excitement of Christmas in his music for this film.
However, I found this soundtrack very hard to get hold of, but I managed to find one in HMV, but they're not always in stock. But once you've found one, grab it. It is definately worth the £15 that I payed for it and definately gets you into the Christmas mood, or just into dark thinking. Although £15 may ...

I have to tell you the truth, and that is I had never ever heard of this film, until one day when I was watching a Film, it popped up in a Warner Brothers trailer telling you of all the classics like Blubber 1 & 2 etc. And Beetlejuice popped up but I didn't notice at first, until my mom pointed it out telling me it's a really good film. So one day, I was at HMV looking for a 3rd DVD as it's 3 for £20 there, and then I had the idea of trying to find this film, and I found it. And I'm really glad I had that thought, as I really enjoyed this film, and I recon many others do too.
