Before I Go - King For A Day

...If you want to listen to an album before going out to a party, this will get you rocking and rolling out the door. The songs are funny and full of adrenaline, gusto and hearts of rock. Tenacious D have never taken themselves that seriously and this album doesnt change this attitude, but its fun and will make you laugh before going out. The song which gives the album its title 'pick of destiny' is brilliant as well as 'the government totally sucks' which has excellent harmony! 'Beezleboss', will get you up for a party and Jack Blacks songs 'kickapoo' and 'classical' are hilariously random! You don't have to have seen the film which is a great advantage for me because I havent seen it, but I loved school rock of rock! You will be singing along to the song 'History' and smiling afterwards, it is funny and its good to have artists these days... Read review

...Another great Rhythm & Blues artist is the unforgettable BB King, who is indeed the King of Rhythm and Blues. The electric guitar just seems to sing when his fingers stroke the strings, I’ve always been a fan of BB King since I became a rhythm and blues fanatic, what I really want to do is go to his café in New Orleans and listen to him jam personally. Now that would be unforgettable. He has a bass voice, very deep and husky. I can’t really say much about the King Of Rhythm and Blues apart from no-one will beat him and he’ll always retain that figure. This is a great album for the serious Rhythm & Blues listener, even if you’re not a fan or a bit of the uneducated side when it comes to the creation of music.. have a listen… this is how music began! ...I bought The CD of the concise Crimson king. We have a second hand music shop close by where i picked this up for around a fiver. I did find it diffucult to find so if looking for this go to a second hand record store. Track 1 is sheer class called (21st century schizoid man) (7:20) This song has a gentle rhythm although very moving Go out there and buy this great album, as the music will turn your head and i bet you you start going out buying other similar bands music. Its just one of those clasic albums close to like say the red hot chilli peppers.Once you listen to it, it grips to you, you spend all day walking round singing those tunes over and over again in your head. Such a mind-blowing album packed with excellant drum beats and ground breaking guitar riffs.... Read review
