Advantages: killer production, some classic songs
Disadvantages: if you don't like it raw, this album isn't for you!

...This was the album that announced the arrival of the Wu-Tang clan and begun a global phenomena. At the time it was like nothing else out there with the Wu’s kung fu imagery (and samples) and masked faces. The track “Method Man” was the first to blow up but it is for classics like “C.R.E.A.M.” (cash rules everything around me) and the Gladys Knight sampling “Can It All Be So Simple” that this album will be remembered. ...I had this bought for me for Mother's Day after a gentle nudge in the right direction and various hint dropping. With over 19 songs ranging from the late 1960's, this CD has every favourite record on it from her singing career. The earliest song on here is The Look of Love which has to be an all time favourite with most people, if anyone denies singing along to it I think they would be telling porkies.
