...Buyer Beware - This album is unofficial and appears in various digipack guises including the more common Freak Out and alice Cooper Experience. This is a Particularly bad recording from the groups appearance at the Toronto Rock 'N' Roll Revival 169 concert. Two of the tracks aren't even by Alice these are Ain't That Just Like a Woman and Goin To The River the performer for these tracks is thought to be Ronnie Hawkins who had these two songs in his set at this time. in fact most of the songs are incorrectly titles, Painting A Picture is really No Longer Umpire, Group Instrumental is a portion of Lay Down and Goodbye as is I've Written Home To Mother. Freak Out Song is Don't Blow Your Mind. Science Fiction is Fields Of Regret. The recording is interestng but don't pay any more than a fiver for the CD. It is a collectable... Read review

Disadvantages: Beginners Only, Don't Bother If You Already Own Trashes The World

...This CD in conjunction with the Beast Of Alice Cooper album is a cheap way of getting the very best of Alice Cooper. While Beast Of deals mainly with the period of 1970 to 1975 Classics encompasses material from both the 70's and 90's. The 80's was a pretty poor period production wise for Alice. The CD contains the number 2 hit Poison from trash and the title track from the following album Hey Stoopid. Posion is a hard rock ballad and Hey Stoopid a great rock song with great power chord guitar solos. Feed My Frankenstein is one of Alices weaker 90's numbers it is fun and mainly came to the publics attention through its inclusing in Waynes World. Loves A Loaded Gun appears in Hey Stoopid and is really a cross over outtake form the Trash album, a great song with a story. Stolen Prayer and It's Me have great melodies... Read review

The album's called Hell Is Alice Cooper (sticking very closely to his philosophy of wanting to scare people) and as expected most of the songs are good old fashioned rock, many of the lyrics talking about Hell or Fire. I have an admission to make about this CD, when I went to buy it I was just looking for any Alice Cooper CD, and this was the only one they had.
