Believe It Or Not (The Billy Griffin Collection) - Billy Griffin

Advantages: Good family friendly pub with a great atmosphere and great food.

...I learnt of this pub through a conversation with my hairdresser. At the time I had mentioned that I was going for a meal at Griffhouse that evening and she asked if it was ?the one near the roundabout or the little pub further down the road?. News to me because at the time I only knew the Griffhouse (which is a beefeater establishment). So it wasn?t until a couple of weeks later that my partner and I were out and about looking for somewhere new to have a bite to eat, that I remembered our conversation and so we went in search of the Griffin Inn. Fortunately we didn?t have to go too far as it was literally a 5min drive down the road from the Griffhouse. Advantages: Great tracks, loads of emotion packed inside!
Disadvantages: Not so much tracks from her first album

...jumped back into the business as a much more mature 16 year old, and a surname too! The bubbly princess known as Billie, was now a sophisticated Billie Piper! Though she was having success in the charts still, Billie's mental and physical health were going down. After a nasty remark, Billie became anorexic, and had several other health problems too. Releasing her final album was the end to her music. We said a sudden goodbye to Billie with 'Walk Of Life'. Since then, Billie married Chris Evans (her rescuer!) and turned to acting. Advantages: Great choice, great value
Disadvantages: Couldn't eat that much every day

...and a weekend folk concert' genre. But the Griffin couldn't be further from that image. If you are interested in brewing and breweries, a look at their website will tell you loads about what they do at www.joseph-holt.com/ourbeers.asp - but as we go at lunchtimes and never quaff anything stronger than a diet coke or a cup of cappuccino, I think further brewery-talk would be out of place in this review. So if the Griffin isn't a 'dogs and dominoes' pub what is it like? Well to my mind it's a quite surprisingly light and stylish for a pub. Once you've fought your way through the desperate smokers who are huddled by the door, you find that there's a large drinking and dining area to your right, a long light-wood bar in front of you and a dining area to the left.
