... BELLA ITALIA
Formerly known as Bella Pasta
My first visit to a Bella Italia was a couple of weeks after returning from a holiday at Lake Como. My 10 year old son was very impressed that he could use his newly aquired snatches of Italian as the waitress greeted us in Italian, he spent the meal throwing in what few words and phrases he had picked up in Italy!!
The restaurant we visited was in Lancaster, our home town, and at that time I didn't realise that it was part of a chain.
I must say that we enjoyed our meal and found the prices reasonable, consequently we have returned several times since. It is on all of these visits that I base this review.
RESTAURANT.......Our local Bella Italia is on the corner of Church Street, Lancaster, and is like a little piece of Italy in the midst of Lancashire. It...

Advantages: Excellent food, pleasant staff and atmosphere, not overly pricey Disadvantages: Long waiting time at busy periods.

Advantages: Lots of info, advice, tips. Easy to read. Disadvantages: None
...Now, before all the men out there move onto the next review, remember that it is a well known fact that you love reading ' women's' magazines. Forget FHM, Loaded and the rest. If a copy of Bella, Woman, Chat etc is lying on a coffee table, my husband will always pick it up and have a good read.
Having said all that , it's not often that I read them myself ! However, I have read the last few issues of Bella. We have been away over Easter to my Mum and Dad's caravan, and my Mum left the latest issues behind for some holiday reading.
Of course, as soon as I got home, I felt a review coming on, and so checked out the magazine categories. And there it was ! So, here is my review of Bella. Aimed at women, but read by men as well !
What is Bella ?
Bella is a weekly magazine that averages about 60 pages per issue. As...
