Michael Jackson was born in 1958 he becomes the lead singer of The Jackson 5 in 1963.

Michael Jackson is a man that I feel like I know. I love Michael even though I have never met him and I hate the criticism that he has recieved. I have grown up with Michael Jackson, Ben being one of the first songs I grew to love. He is one of the best artists that I have ever known and I don't care what anybody else says because even though he has changed his looks many times over that does not change the person within.

I feel that Michael Jackson is a loving, caring person with a lot to give to the music world if the world would stop giving him a hard time. It is obvious that Michael has problems and issues that affect him he is deeply disturbed within, but that does not change the person he is or the songs he has written. It is because of who he is that he can sing so well. I challenge any of you to sing as good as Michael Jackson or to perform. Let's go back a bit in history where did the moon walk dance come from? Oh yes Michael Jackson and there was such a big craze for him. Just because he decided to have another face change all his so called fans walked off calling him a loon. I'm sorry, but if Michael Jackson is a loon then we all are because we are all different in some way. Just because he didn't want to conform to the norm or he had a role model that he wanted to be like and changed his face to be like we make the decision not to like him. Isn't that just a tad judgemental?

When I heard Ben for the first time I fell in love with it. I could see that this was Michael's type of song because it was about friendship, love and affection. That's who Michael is even if he was singing about a pet rat.

Michael Jackson has never done anything wrong in my eyes even if the world does want to condenm him and put him down. He is a star in my eyes and Ben brought him to the star light.

Ben was my favourite song because it's something that we can relate to if we ever have had close friends. Ben, the two of us need look no more we both found what we were looking for.

It was sung with such emotion. That's what I like about Michael Jackson he gives it his all 110% and more. I look at Michael Jackson's songs and I can see him in them. In the words that he sings. I think the reason he can give it his all is because he can relate to the words of the songs. In black and white he was singing about his problems. The man in the mirror. Do I need to say anymore?

Michael Jackson produces emotions that are hard for the average singer to convey, but Michael does it so passionately.

Take a look at that songs do any of those songs scream out a nutter? Are any of those songs violent or viscious? Now take a look at the singers of today how they sing about drugs, sex and killing people. Michael Jackson never sung any songs like that nor does he know. The only songs that you could say were bad were Bad and Thriller, but they are not at all violent not compared with today's standards.

Michael Jackson has done nothing to hurt anyone else yet everyone else seems to want to hurt him. Why? What for? Perhaps it's a jealousy? A jealous world jealous of Michael's fame and wanting to stop it. I think that's more the case.

Michael's songs are sung with passion and emotion. I much prefer his earlier songs when he had a high pitch singing voice, but his songs today are still excellent.

I would recommend Ben for it's originality, lyrics which speak of love and emotion. I would recommend it for it's quality and consistency of tracks. It certainly stands the test of time. Compared to other artist's this beats them all in my opinion. It stands the test for competition and it's cover with Michael on as a little boy wearing a cap is classy and original. Overall I would say it is excellent.
