Advantages: Classic track 'Bulldozer' & 4 bonus tracks, good production job Disadvantages: By far the worst Machine Head Album let down by weak lyrical content
..., it's a shame that 'Desire To Fire' plods in this live version and has no where near the power of the studio version. However after the tracks on 'Supercharger' these two are actually a welcome break, and a reminder that Machine Head can do 'Heavy'.
The Digipak version of this album is housed in a bright orange cardboard gatefold (Brighter than almost all of the spines on any of my other 500 CD's) with the graphics in grey, white and black layered on top. The package is striking, if you have seen it then you'll know what I mean, it looks like it means business (Shame it doesn't). Lyrics are produced in the booklet should you want to sound like Tarzan or sing about an agrivated childhood.
There are pictures of the band inside the booklet with everyone looking normal except Flynn looking like he's 'Supercharged' in a bad way!!! I wouldn...

Advantages: Great production, awe inspiring agressive/clean singing with TRUE feeling, modern, fresh Disadvantages: Not quite as good as their stunning debut
...silhouetted figure with the only visible feature of a set of nasty fangs, in comparrison it is not as striking as this version.
The CD sits in a very nice matt (NOT glossy) deep-red digipak with a booklet neatly housed inside the front fold. The booklet contains full lyrics printed in blood red over a black background with notes on each songs production, thanks list, and info on the band.
'Revolver' is an album that shouldn't be missed or overlooked as I nearly did, it may take a few listens to appreciate what is here, but give it a few and I'm sure things will suddenly click.
