One of the best in the wwf
Since his immediate impact on the wwf benoit has rose to the top of the roster in meteoric proportions. A few weeks into his wwf debut he won the ic title and never looked back. I think that he maybe has been moved up to fast as the wwf has now earmarked the role of main heel for him when hhh turns face. He is never in the leaugue of rock or undertaker but the wwf seems to have a lot of time for benoit due to his brilliant technical abality. It is no catchphrase when benoit says he is the greatest technical wrestler because there are not very many folk that can match him *tachnically*. Clearly not every match can be a good one - but Benoit was constantly showing that he is one of the best in the buisness today, whether it be his multiple grman suplexes or his diving headbut I would be amazed to watch Chris Benoit technically tear his opponents apart!
Then he feuded with Dean Malenko. This was a pretty interesting feud which included a certain cage match I remember in which Chris Benoit leapt from ...
