where she was to be put to sleep. it was an awful day for us all. but my big beautifull bear would now not be in pain and in a better place. we miss her terribly. but we hope that we gave her a year she will never forget full of love happiness trust and hope. this review is dedicated to my big bear sophia the saint bernard who is terribly missed always loved and never forgotten. I also recommend anyone getting a saint bernard that it will change their life forever to have such a gentle giant thats protective of the family, with not an ounce of aggression in their blood. although expensive to feed i have never owned a dog so loving and gentle and the cost was well worth the knowledge and time i spent with this wonderfull breed. ...

Good old Bernard Matthews

Advantages: Quick and easy to cook
Disadvantages: You will smell of garlic.

Bernard Matthews Mini Kievs are always a favourite in our house, quick and easy to cook, goes with almost anything and my girls love them. ~A Bit of History~ Bernard Matthews has been round since the 1950?s and started with one man just producing turkey eggs, to date they now farm 8 million turkeys every year just in the UK. There first advert was shown on T.V in 1980 and in 1988 Mini Kievs where first introduced to the UK ~What are they~ The are small round balls made out of chopped 100% turkey breast, covered in bread crumbs with a creamy cheese and herb sauce in the centre so when you cut into it the sauce oozes out, delicious. These are low in cholesterol and they are high in protein and also have minerals and vitamins within them, so ideal as a quick meal. ~How to cook them~ There are 3 ways to cook them ...

Review of Bernard Matthew's Mini Kiev's

Not so Tender is the read!

Advantages: Very real drama, the reader gets caught up in the story
Disadvantages: Not as light and humorous as his other work

My route into the work of Fitzgerald did not start as people often do with Gatsby, but I read a number of his short stories. The Diamond as Big as the Ritz and other stories, and The Basil and Josephine stories are light easy reads. The language and style of the twenties jazz era give a fun and frivolous atmosphere and reflects the stories which seems shallow frippery themselves. Even The Great Gatsby with its tragic conclusion does revel in the fun times of the age. Although I knew that Tender is the Night was semi-autobiographical based on Fitzgerald?s turbulent relationship with his schizophrenic wife Zelda Sayre, perhaps mis-guidedly I was expecting the novel to be approached in his signature style.
