So many greatest hits and best of's around now are not a true reflection of the artist's best work - but here is one that is. Having heard all of U2's albums between 1980 and 1990, I can definitely say that almost everything that should be here is here. From the youth driven punk of 'I Will Follow' to the reflective, slow burning 'All I Want Is You', this is pure class all the way through. There's the anthemic 'Where The Streets Have No Name' and 'Pride (In The Name Of Love)', the intense power yet brilliant structure of 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', the excellent riffs and melodies of 'Desire'...they're all here. They've even included the magnificant recent re-working of the old B-Side 'Sweetest Thing' in case you had any doubts. So if you haven't got any old (I prefer the term vintage) U2 in your collection, buy this now, because they made some of the most memorable, passionate and best music of the 80's.
