Advantages: Amazing guitar work from Paul Gilbert, very talented band! Disadvantages: None
...This band is absolutley AMAZING! It is my favourite band for many reasons! Paul Gilbert, the guitarist in Mr. Big is my all time favourite guitarist and without him, I wouldn't have started playing guitar all day everyday! To me, this band had the most talented musicians in ever! Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan were an absolutley amazing guitar duo and changed the way I looked at rock music, guitar technique and song writing. With their harmonised leads and Gilberts blisteringly fast solos, songs like Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy should be a song for all guitarists to have a shot at. Excellent album, Stay Together, one of the extra tracks is really cool, the guitar riff from Green Tinted Sixties Mind is amazing! Brilliant album from an even more brilliant band!...

Advantages: It's Big Country - Live and at their very best Disadvantages: It's less than an hour long
...etc. No lyrics, but then as it is a live album, the lyrics often stray from the original studio version anyway. Adamson's diction is pretty clear and most of the lyrics can be easily distinguished by listening.

Hard to categorise explicitly, I have seen them described variously as alternative rock, folk music, new wave and rock! I have always felt they were at their best live, just them and their instruments, no gadgetry, no unnecessary hangers-on.
Their lyrics often address social issues; the crushing of the working man, class injustices and the dehumanising effects of mundane...

Advantages: Great Aerosmith tracks Disadvantages: You may end up with duplicates
...Title: Big Ones
Released: November, 1994
Label: Geffen Records
Album Type: Compilation Album
Produced by: Bruce Fairbairn, Michael Beinhorn
The tracks on this album span from the late 80's and the early 90's era of Aerosmith's career. As usual, I am marking songs to how they sound as they are, not to if they live up to Aerosmith songs from the start of their career.
Now, to begin with, this album has many tracks on it, which are on the "Young Lust Anthology" album. Now, that didn't bother me to much, as I collect the albums anyway, however if you buy them for the different songs, you may not want to buy this if you already have the Young Lust anthology. However, there are two tracks that are not actually on the Young Lust album.
These two tracks being: Amazing and Livin' On The Edge. I say not actually on the Young Lust...
