A jam-packed CD full of unique tracks from an amazing artist!
***** Billie Paul Piper was born in 1982 in Swindon. Since she was tiny, she dreamed of performing and attended various dance classes and drama groups! When she was 13, she won a place in Sylvia Young Drama School and stayed there in London. When she was 15, she was given the opportunity of a lifetime! Innocent Record Company offered her a record deal! Without hesitating, Billie jumped at the chance, and became a new face for music - a young, lively, bubbly teen!
Billie's first single, 'Because We Want To', went straight to number one - a massive achievement! Following that, Billie had several other fantastic hits and a great album, 'Honey To the Bee'. Billie promoted this album by going on tour, then taking a short break afterwards.
When her break was over, Billie jumped back into the business as a much more mature 16 year old, and a surname too! The bubbly princess known as Billie, was now a sophisticated Billie Piper! Though she was having success in the charts still, Billie's mental and physical health were going down. After a nasty remark, Billie became anorexic, and had several other health problems too. Releasing her final album was the end to her music. We said a sudden goodbye to Billie with 'Walk Of Life'.
Since then, Billie married Chris Evans (her rescuer!) and turned to acting. Billie is best known now for her role of Rose Tyler in Doctor Who 2004-2006.
***** 'The Best Of Billie' is a collection of all of Billie's greatest hits from her three years as a solo artist. Filled with 15 fantastic hits, it is most definitely my favourite album!

***** The cover of this CD is quite basic, with a white backround, and a picture of Billie wearing a black dress. She really stands out, as if she were making some sort of statement!
***** If you listen carefully to the lyrics in the last few songs, it makes you quite emotional! Billie really needed somebody, and ending her career was, in some ways, the best thing she could have done!
***** I can't choose one favourite track, but I do have some which I listen to more that the rest! I thing She Wants You is one of my most preferred from Billie's early stage in her singing days. It is a fun song to sing and dance to! The Tide Is High is probably the one I listen to most, and Id say Billie's remix version is much better than any other version released by other artists! I think the maturity behind Something Deep Inside and Walk Of Life is just beginning to break through, seeping through the cracks! I love them!
***** This album is of good value too! My copy cost me five pound in HMV, but it is cheap enough anywhere that I have seen it!
There is no better album than this, and I treasure it forever! If you dont own it, I'd recommend you buy it!
