Advantages: Funny, loving, real characters
Disadvantages: Drama Queens

British shorthairs (BSH) are really just posh moggies!! They have a short dense coat wich is easily maintained. I grrom mine weekly just to keep them looking there best and they love it. One bit of advise on this though, start them young, as soon as you get your kitten home make this part of their routine and you will find they will get used to it very quickly and this saves a lot of problems when they get bigger and more strong willed. If you dont keep on top of grooming them they will often form mats during their biannual moult. They have excellent natures but they dont suffer fools. They wil soon let you know if they have had enough. They are often not lap cats but still like to sit beside you and grace you with their presence when they feel like it. food wise. Not fussy at all so any food is better than nothing, correct? Overall impression of BA was good. Toilets were fine, the usual pigmy size. Paper cups were in there if anyone wanted to help themselves to water, although the staff did come around with a tray of drinks fairly often with a choice of water or orange juice. Sleep wasn't really an issue although we had got up early I never sleep easily on a plane. Leg room wasn't great but then I'm tall and a smaller person probably would've found it more bearable. One final point in this extremely long op - there's a piece in the magazine regarding zero tolerance on disruptive behaviour that was worth a read.
