Its also about the fact that young people (including myself), do keep alot of feelings to themselves, particularly the sort of feelings that eat you up inside.
This, Good Charlotte's second album, following on from 2001's self titled debut (which didnt get a lot of coverage in the UK), will make a lot of people cringe due to the fact that, as I said, it is a genuinly emotional record that won't suit all tastes. So if your looking for a pick-me-up, then this isn't for you, but if your searching for an album full of great lyrics and songs with genuine feeling, then GC are for you.

Probably the best song of them all. It is largely based around teen suicide, and says that if you can hold on then things will get better eventually.

Advantages: Chilled, grown up, amazing voice Disadvantages: Too short!
...of these shows slightly distasteful - setting up the hopeful (and often the hopeless) in the name of entertainment. However, the battle of image versus talent between gap-toothed stutterer Gareth Gates and Will Young interested me. And the nation didn't let me down, the best man won!
With only one cover (a soaring, gorgeously gospel-influenced version of Stephen Stills' Love the One You're With) and six tracks co-written by Will himself, Friday's Child is much more indicative of his own taste and influences and shows he could be an artist of great longevity.
Here is a delectable collection of delicate ballads, smooth easy grooves, and glorious Chic-influenced jazz funk dancefloor fillers. And weaving them all together, that smooth, creamy, unmistakable voice.
