Advantages: Great operatic album Disadvantages: none
...This is in my opinion one of Luciano Pavarotti's greatest albums ever! The great tenor at his best singing classics such as O Sole Mio, Nessun Dorma, La Danza, Vesti la guibba, Rigoletto la Donna é mobile and many more. This album is truely astonishing from argueably the greatest tenor that ever lived. The passion in the songs that Pavarotti sings in this album are amazing, it will sweep you off your feet and throw you into complete perfection. Unfortunately as you may have heard Luciano Pavarotti died on September 6th 2007 which makes this album a tribute to the great tenor and his life long work as an operatic legend. Luciano Pavarotti was one of the most renowned people wordwide and this album presents some of his best work and you should buy this amazing album in honour of the greatest operatic legend that ever lived!...

Advantages: Rustic, Powerful, Emotive Disadvantages: None, unless you have a problem with late 70's sound quality
...the background to Saeta in Sevilla, but it seems to commemorate some kind of military lifestyle. Maybe a reflective piece about the war...
Taranto and Provencal paint a pensive Carlos Montoya, deeply entranced into the magic of nostalgia. Very moving.
Jerez kicks in with rasping strings, establishing itself as proud and traditional. Similar to Farruca in a way.
Zapsteap is very much the same, containing jazzy ballads and interesting rhythm as well as Montoya's trademark rapidity. Extremely playful, once again.
The final track, Macerna En Tango, is a follow-up to the previous Jerez and Zapsteap. Once more, the sections of tumbling strings will blow your mind away.
I will conclude by saying that Carlos Montoya is one the best and most inventive Flamenco artists, alongside Juan Martin.
This CD offers a perfect selection of his work and is worth ten...

Advantages: Some good songs and if u can get your hands on the original album cover then you are up for a chuckle too! Disadvantages: A bit cheesy in places
...This is one of Ricky's earlier releases and this sung completely in spanish. The version I own is the original version, however when he became famous in the UK it was re-released with a completely new album cover. The original version has some very strange yet amusing pictures of him, in some rather funny poses. This was also in his days of long hair, if you've seen general hospital you'll know what I'm talking about!! There are some good tracks on this album including the original version of 'Maria'which has a flamenco vibe to it, also the spanglish version of 'Maria' which was released here. Its not the best of his ablums but its certainly not the worst either. If you like Ricky Martin or spanish music then this is most definately a good album to buy....
