Advantages: This is a necessity for Ani fans new and old alike.
Disadvantages: Some of my favorite songs are not featured on this set - but, many of them ARE.

...of the many tiny hole-in-the-wall clubs on Ani?s tour schedule. Not many live recordings can capture the essence of the environment, but "Living In Clip" does not fall short. I highly recommend this to any Ani DiFranco fan. But, this is a great introduction to Ani's career, as it is a very well-balanced and skillfully-assembled timeline of her work as a musician. You cannot miss this album for ANYTHING, ladies and gentlemen! It's too good to pass up! One of the best things about this two-disc set is 1. I found it for $12.99 but also 2. The fact that Ani refuses to edit out or alter her live performances. She did not even do overdubbing or add extra tracks into the recording before releasing it on CD. Instead, she left the entire thing as it was (well, okay, she redid the vocal track on "Both Hands" because the original was full of static... Read review

Advantages: good songs very anti bush and anti political
Disadvantages: not everyones cup of tea

...and contains some political mocking about how people sue for anything and about the big brother state principle and the hatred of democracy. All in all its quite an anarchist song with some good riffs and vocals. 2)The irrationally of rationality 2:30 another political song about the unfair distribution of wealth. The song again has very good instrumental and vocals but is nothing special apart from the anarchist lyrics. You have to listen closely to realize how powerful these lyrics are. 3)Franco un-American 2:30 A very good song with a high use of vocals and one of my favorite NOFX songs. Not only is this song anti bush but is also very environmentally concerned. This is a very good NOFX song although not a classic NOFX it has extremely powerful lyrics that really make you think about the world and how its so wrong. This song will be remembered... Advantages: As with the others I've reviewed, this record is original, thought provoking, honest, and introspective - with plenty of varied musical styles to keep the listener hooked.
Disadvantages: There are a couple of tracks that seem a bit "out of place" though they are still more than worth listening to.

This isn’t even about how much I enjoy the soulful, skillful acoustic guitar work or honest, sublime, thought provoking lyrics that are constantly coming out of her mouth and onto record. This is about “Dilate” – what I consider to be one of THE best Ani albums, and a must have.
