Advantages: Excellent Unreleased tunes, A nice unmixed cd
Disadvantages: Shame we wont see half the tracks on vinyl

...Only a few words can sum up this double cd.... "blinding" featuring 2 cd's, 1 of them being mixed and featuring a wide selection of some of the best hardcore tracks which are only featured on this album. The second cd is an unmixed cd, featuring around 11 fully unmixed tracks :D. These can be used by dj's, or if you like hearing the full track with no early mixing Overall this double cd is one of the best hardcore compilations you can buy. If you dont own it already then go and buy it now, even if its just for "black magic, bad magic (gammer remix)" and "lets fly (breeze and styles remix). Advantages: Classic tracks mixed by some of the leading lights in the industry.
Disadvantages: Some of the tracks seem to be space fillers rather than floor fillers.

...Out of the Bonkers series, Bonkers Vol 3 has to be one of the best. 3 CDs containing tracks from the cream of the crop of Hppy Hardcore from 1997. Disc one is mixed by Hixxy, one of the original mixmasters and features some of his own classic tracks including "Together Forever", "Return To Toytown" and "Starry Night". Hardcore die hards will also recognise all time favourites such as Scott Brown in one of his many alter-egos as Q-Tex and the awesome "Power of Love 97". This disc is incredibly happy, bouncy and truly conveys the feeling and the atmosphere of Happy Hardcore in that era. Disc 2 is mixed by Sharkey and the tone gets slighly darker but no less happy as we are transported into the hardcore realm which preceded freeform, Sharkey's own brand of fast, bouncy dance which has made him really stand out from the crowd. ...The Bonkers album series is perhpas the most iconic modern UK Hardcore album series of all time and the chances are if you've ever enjoyed this form of underground rave music you'll have bought a Bonkers album at some ;oint in your life. So this best of Bonkres album is a welcom addition to the series witha triple CD mix from Hixxy & Recon, Druid & Sharley and Scott Brown. Expect nothing less than a full on trawl through some of the best tracks to have featured on Bonkers albums through the ages with all the anthems of the past 12 years or so carmmed into these 3 excellently mixed CD's. This CD offers something for everybody as far as UK hardcore goes and is well worth the cheap as chips purchase price.... Read review
